With this alone, insta-follow
Not what I'd call an ANIMATION, but I like the idea
Hmmmmmmm... know what?, Imma follow you to see how this unfolds o-o
This is VERY good, though I'm still struggling to score one single goal after like 10 minutes
The biggest issue I'm having with it is how it switches to the next character, wether I'm running to the right or left, it instantly switches to other character and, because I'm obviously still pressing the same direction, what ends up happening is my current player to get FURTHER from the ball when I was just using a player that had the ball
Or when I'm chasing after the ball, when I'm obviously going after it but it then suddenly changes to other player and I end up getting further away from it
It's really annoying and it's really hard to figure out how to play this properly, the automatic game switching system messes up the gameplay pretty bad, but somehow it is still pretty fun and the visuals are attractive
And the music?, oh yeah
There's no "regular steering" in this game but drifting, there's a functional difference between them
Idk if it was intentional, but the boost mechanic compensates the drifting slide so that you may save yourself from crashing to the sides from time to time, like to kinda course-correct from the offset caused by the drift
About the cargo, initially it kinda seemed like a completely useless factor, but then I understood, it's a pretty unique "HP-ish system", or at least that's my interpretattion
With ramps, I noticed that it kinda forces the boxes to stay in their place, but this isn't consistant, they sometimes get blown away (as I'd realistically expect) or, in even rarer cases, the truck would touch the ground with its rear and explode; I kinda like but also kinda dislike the random outcome that may happen when taking ramps
Many levels felt annoyingly long, and while level length certainly technically could count as a difficulty factor, it does bother to have to start all the way back each time
It looks charming but I'd suggest to let the user adjust shadows, or maybe even be able to disable them; the game ran smoothly in my side but there were times I had to switch tabs and sometimes this would cause a lag that would last for a while, and while that's not a reason for me to lower graphics quality, I can easily imagine some users not sharing the same luxury to run the game in a playable state
(As soon as I wrote that, I checked on reviews, it seems like I'm right)
Shadow casting is expensive on resources, it makes a massive difference when getting rid of them, some games need shadows as reference for the player to move properly, but in this case they don't really seem necessary to play, although without them, I think this game wouldn't look as pretty
Mayyyybe you could also try light baking and then only have the truck and cones cast shadows in realtime?
All in all, it's a nice-fun challenge with nice visuals
I'm surprised this still saved my progress, I have 0 idea what was the last time I played this but I know for sure it must have been years
Still simple and fun, but I gotta say it is a big no for not properly displaying the offensive range, we don't know exactly what's the distance, these weapons and items are granting us larger ranges we don't really get to see/understand it at all, it's up to guess if they're in the range or not
Which is pretty bad when they're moving at high speed and you gotta wait and follow your guts when they were probably already in the range
But hey, still very nice, I just have that small nitpick
Niiiiice!!!
Sorry about Hackphony
Did you made that track on your own?, it sounds very nice!!
Yup! I made this track alone. This song got a sequel, too! It was gonna be a collab with a producer called "Sodalite", but it didn't ended up being that good, mostly because the project was too laggy for my machine. So at the end, I don't think I will upload it.
This sounds way too good, for the most part it gives me 90s platformer vibes
Bravo on this one!!
Very boot-like shoes
I'm guessing it's based on that one statement saying that those weren't socks but actually like "inverse folded" boots
I think this is the first art I've seen him using his shoes like THAT, and honestly, I kinda like it, and the overall vibe feels nostalgic, like it's actually an ancient piece I'd see at 2000s-2010s
Idk how you did any of that with this drawing alone, but it is very great and I'm glad I found this
Reading that description makes me so sad
Very nice coloring and shading though!!!
It's ridiculous how insanely cool this is
There's a lot of things I'm planning to do, and while I doubt all of my ideas will come to life, I know for sure I'll keep doing my best!
Here we go!
